Community-led holiday market donates 100% of proceeds to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
CALGARY, AB — What started as a small idea to bring neighbours together has grown into a community event with heart. The MAG Holiday Market will take place on Friday, December 5 from 5–10 PM at the Meadowlark Park Community Association (623 58 Ave SW). All proceeds from both admissions and vendor fees donated to the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA).
The market features local makers, artists, and small businesses, and promises an evening of festive spirit and community connection. Calgarians are invited to enjoy this family-friendly event — admission is pay-what-you-can, and event details can be found on Eventbrite.
“This event is about more than holiday cheer,” says organizer Jonas Magnien, Calgary REALTOR® and community builder. “It’s about creating space for people to connect, support one another, and contribute to a cause that touches every family and every community.”
Visitors can expect a cozy, nostalgic Christmas atmosphere, complete with local vendors, twinkling lights, festive treats, and cheerful décor. The market is designed to celebrate Calgary’s creative community while giving back to those who need it most.
